Between Sunday, October 15th and Saturday, October 21st, National School Bus Safety Week will be celebrated throughout the country. This annual event is an active, continuing public education program designed to promote school bus safety. National School Bus Safety Week is an excellent way for everyone -parents, students, teachers, motorists, school bus operators, school administrators, etc.- to join forces and address the importance of school bus safety. The theme for this years National School Bus Safety Week will be “Railroad Crossing - Quiet Zone,” to emphasize the need for safety at railroad grade crossings.
