| Evaluation of Labels |
Harness slots are not labeled to indicate which may be used in the rear-facing mode and which may be used in the forward-facing mode. There is no picture of a child in the child restraint. Labels do not illustrate how to prepare LATCH attachments for use. |
| Evaluation of Instructions |
The LATCH attachments arrive stored, and the owner's manual does not describe how to remove them from storage prior to first use. |
| Securing the Child |
The restraint was not set for the smallest possible occupant. The harness clip is not labeled to indicate its correct placement. The harness is difficult to adjust for child's growth. When disassembling for cleaning, mandatory pieces to the restraint must be removed and could be misplaced. |
| Installation Features |
It may be uncomfortable for larger hands to route the seat belt or LATCH belt through the belt path. Interference is possible between a seat component and the belt routing system. A printed/molded line is present on the restraint that must be leveled to the ground. The restraint is equipped with hook-style LATCH attachments which may require twisting to remove from the lower anchors in the vehicle. There is no dedicated storage area for the LATCH attachments. |
