There is not a picture of a child properly restrained in the CRS on the labeling. Labels do not illustrate how to prepare LATCH attachments for use. On the labels, the illustrations that depict the methods of installing the seat are not labeled. Belt path labeling may be overlooked. |

The manual was not attached to the restraint and was found loose in the packaging. The frontal airbag warning is buried within text and is not prominently displayed separate from other warnings. In the manual, the section which details vehicle seat belt types does not provide complete information. The user must read text to route seatbelts correctly. The manual does not remind the user to tighten the LATCH belt. In the manual, the illustration depicting the properly restrained child is not directly next to information describing the proper size range. |
| Securing the Child |
The restraint was not set for the smallest possible occupant. The harness clip is not labeled to indicate its correct placement. When disassembling for cleaning, mandatory pieces to the restraint must be removed and could be misplaced. |
| Installation Features |
It may be uncomfortable for larger hands to route the seat belt or LATCH belt through the belt path. Interference is possible between a seat component and the belt routing system. A printed/molded line is present on the restraint that must be leveled to the ground. There are not three levels of built-in recline available. Push-button-style connectors are used as LATCH attachments. The LATCH storage area is not labeled. A locking clip may still be required, even though the restraint has a built-in lockoff. This locking clip must be ordered separately. |
