Are All Seats Safe?
All car seats rated by NHTSA meet Federal Safety Standards & strict crash performance standards. While all rated seats are safe, they do differ in their ease of use in four basic catagories:

Evaluation of Labels 2 stars
There is not a picture of a child properly restrained in the CRS on the labeling. Additional sizing information is not illustrated and is given in text only. No additional harness slot height adjustment information is given. Labels do not explain the use
Evaluation of Instructions 4 stars
The manual does not have a dedicated storage compartment or it hangs on a string. The restraint is not pictured in a rear vehicle seat in the manual. In the manual, the section which details vehicle seat belt types does not provide complete information.
Securing the Child 3 stars
The restraint was not set for the smallest possible occupant. The harness clip is not labeled to indicate its correct placement. The harness must be rethread when reassembling after cleaning. Multiple actions are required to convert the seat to the rear
Installation Features 1 stars
The user may need to refer to the instruction manual for guidance regarding how to use the belt-positioning feature correctly. It may be uncomfortable for larger hands to route the seat belt or LATCH belt through the belt path. Interference is possible
