There is no complete illustration of a child in the car seat on the labeling. No additional sizing information is given. Labels do not illustrate how to remove and prepare LATCH attachments for use.
Evaluation of Instructions 3 stars
The manual was attached to the car seat in a hard-to-find location when the car seat was removed from its packaging. The manual cannot be accessed while the car seat is installed in this mode. The manual storage may be difficult to find. No full picture exists of a properly restrained child in the car seat in the owner's manual. No additional sizing information is given in the owner's manual.
Securing the Child 3 stars
The car seat uses a puzzle buckle that does not have an intermediate method of holding the two buckle tongues together. There is a head hugger or body pillow blocking the harness slots in the shell from being easily visible. The harness must be rethreaded to adjust height for the child's growth. The harness must be taken out and rethreaded when cleaning the car seat. When disassembled for cleaning, mandatory parts of the car seat may become detached and could be misplaced.
Installation Features 3 stars
There are not three levels of built-in recline available. A printed/molded line is present on the car seat that must be leveled to the ground. The car seat is equipped with hook-style LATCH attachments which may require twisting to remove from the lower anchors in the vehicle. The LATCH storage area is not clearly labeled. There is no labeling to indicate which position the carrier handle should be in while the vehicle is in motion.
