Evaluation of Instructions 5 stars
The manual storage is difficult to find and use. In the manual, the illustration of the properly restrained child does not depict chest clip positioning.
Securing the Child 3 stars
The harness clip is not labeled to indicate its correct placement. The restraint uses a puzzle buckle that does not have an intermediate method of holding the two buckle tongues together. There is a head hugger or body pillow blocking the harness slots from being easily visible. The harness is difficult to adjust for child's growth. The harness must be rethreaded for child's growth. The harness must be rethreaded when reassembling after cleaning. Multiple actions are required to convert the seat to the rear-facing mode; these must be followed in the manual.
Installation Features 3 stars
A printed/molded line is present on the restraint that must be leveled to the ground. There are not three levels of built-in recline available. The restraint is equipped with hook-style LATCH attachments which may require twisting to remove from the lower anchors in the vehicle. The belt positioning feature is simple to use, but the user may need to consult the owner's manual.
