Evaluation of Instructions 4 stars
The instruction manual storage may be difficult to find and/or use while the child restraint is installed. The manual does not differentiate between lap and lap-shoulder belt in the installation section. The section describing vehicle seat belt types is incomplete and may be missing important information. The user must read text to route the LATCH belt properly.
Securing the Child 4 stars
Multiple actions are required to convert the seat to this mode of use; the caregiver must read the instructions. When disassembled for cleaning, mandatory parts of the restraint become detached and could be misplaced.
Installation Features 5 stars
The child restraint is equipped with push-button LATCH connectors. The LATCH attachment and/or tether storage area is not clearly labeled.
