Each harness slot is labeled indicating the correct slots for each mode, but the labels are difficult to read as they are molded into the shell. On the labeling, the height and weight requirements are not directly next to an illustration of a child in the CRS. On the labels, the tether is shown but not labeled with each mode of installation. Labels do not explain the use of LATCH. No illustration is given on the labels to show the caregiver how to prepare LATCH attachments for use. | Securing the Child |
The harness clip is not labeled with placement instructions. The harness must be rethread to adjust height for the child's growth. Multiple actions are required to convert the seat to this mode of use; the caregiver must read the instructions. The harness must be taken out and rethreaded to disassemble the seat for cleaning. |
| Installation Features |
The belt path may not comfortably accommodate a larger hand. Interference is possible between a seat component and the seat belt/LATCH belt. The restraint is equipped with hook-like LATCH attachments which may require twisting to remove from the vehicle. The LATCH attachment and/or tether storage area is not clearly labeled. |
