Evaluation of Instructions 4 stars
The manual was not attached to the restraint and was found loose in the packaging. The frontal airbag warning is contained in a bulleted list and is not separated from other warnings. The frontal airbag warning is not illustrated clearly.
Securing the Child 3 stars
The restraint was not set for the smallest possible occupant. The harness clip is not labeled to indicate its correct placement. There are no pictures on the labels to describe how to convert this restraint to this mode of use. Multiple actions are required to convert the seat to this mode of use, but the operations are simple. When disassembled for cleaning, mandatory parts of the restraint become detached and could be misplaced.
Installation Features 3 stars
Interference is possible between a seat component and the belt routing system. A printed/molded line is present on the restraint that must be leveled to the ground. There are not three levels of built-in recline available. LATCH attachments have buttons to depress for removal.
