Dear Mr. Nakajima: This is in reply to your letter of June 9, 1971, regarding th definition of 'curb weight' in Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 110.; The air conditioner and the additional weight optional engine are to b included in 'curb weight' if the motor vehicle is equipped with these items.
