Dear Mr. Rittersporn: This is in reply to your letter of September 22, 1972, concerning th application of Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 302, 'Flammability of Interior Materials'.; You ask whether the Standard applies to slide-in campers. The answer i that it does not. You also ask about the effective date of the Standard.
