TEXT: Dear Sir or Madam,
I represent the Bus Safety Committee from Great Valley School District in Southeastern Pennsylvania. I would like to request a formal written response to the following question. If a child is not sitting fully in a school bus seat, that is, a child's body is partially extending into the aisle, is the child afforded the protection of the bus compartment in accordance with the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 222? A rapid response to this question would be most welcome.
Sincerely,
