Dear Mr. Frank: In response to your letter of December 9, 1971, it is correct tha Standard No. 302, 'Flammability of Interior Materials,' applies only to motor vehicles (passenger cars, multipurpose passenger vehicles, trucks, and buses) manufactured on or after September 1, 1972.
