Dear Mr. Zsoka: This is in reply to your letter of July 13, 1972, concerning th applicability of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 302 to your sponge rubber weather-stripping for replacement.; Standard No. 302 does not apply to replacement parts or aftermarke materials.
