Model Minimum Uniform Crash Criteria

To encourage greater uniformity and consistency, the Model Minimum Uniform Crash Criteria (MMUCC) Guideline was created to provide State and Local agencies with a standard set of motor vehicle traffic crash data variables they should consider collecting. MMUCC was first developed in 1998 and has been updated four times – in 2003, 2008, 2012, and 2017. MMUCC is currently in the revision process and anticipates publication of the MMUCC Guideline 6th Edition in 2024.
