Dear Mr. Hase:#This responds to your August 8, 1974, question whethe the effective date of Standard No. 106-74, *Brake hoses*, is September 1, 1974, for hose (and fittings) and March 1, 1975, for hose assemblies.#Your interpretation is correct. The standard requires conforming hose (and fittings) as of September 1, 1974.
