I am interested to know about the procedure for obtaining DOT certification on Automotive Components in general and brake hose ends (Metallic ends in particular. I would request information on the following points:

1. No. of samples to be submitted for testing. 2. Time required for testing 3. Test theries 4. Periodicity of testing 5. In case of failure in the first attempt. No. of fresh samples to be submitted 6. Any agency has been authorized in India for certification as per DOT specs. 7. Any other relevant information.
