NHTSA has launched the new SaferCar smartphone app. Available for both iOS and Android, the app allows you to save your vehicles, car seats, equipment, or tires in a virtual garage on your smartphone. The app automatically checks, in the background, for safety issues and alerts users when they have a safety recall.
