Join NHTSA for a live virtual event on Thursday, May 16 at 11 a.m. ET to kick off the annual Click It or Ticket enforcement mobilization and discuss efforts to increase seat belt use.

NHTSA Deputy Administrator Sophie Shulman will be joined by: 

  • Susan Hipp, Executive Director, Network of Employers for Traffic Safety; 
  • Fred Haas, Safety/EMS Manager, Geisinger EMS;
  • Andre French, Chief, Mifflin County, Pennsylvania Regional Police Department; and
  • Natasha Grau, crash survivor.

NHTSA’s Click It or Ticket national paid media campaign begins on May 13 and runs through June 2. The national seat belt enforcement mobilization begins on May 20.
