Join the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for a live virtual event on May 12 at 11 a.m. ET. The public event with stakeholders will focus on the annual Click It or Ticket enforcement mobilization, that kicks off with the Border-to-Border initiative — a one-day national seat belt awareness event coordinated by participating states.
Speakers will include:
- Dr. Steven Cliff, NHTSA Deputy Administrator;
- Colonel Kevin Anderson, Maryland Transportation Authority Chief of Police;
- Mischelle Miller, occupant protection impact speaker; and
- Udana Torian, Montgomery County, Maryland, firefighter and paramedic.
NHTSA’s Click It or Ticket paid media campaign will begin on May 16 and run through June 5. The national enforcement mobilization period will begin on May 23.
