Join the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for a roundtable discussion as we kickoff the agency's annual Click It or Ticket high-visibility seat belt enforcement campaign.
This event will bring together three vital perspectives—the survivors who lived to tell their stories, the first responders who arrive on the scene and the law enforcement officers who witness the impact of our choices behind the wheel.
This event will take place at the Department of Transportation Headquarters in Washington, D.C. Speakers will include:
- Jonathan Morrison, NHTSA Administrator;
- Dennis Dempsey, Deputy Sheriff with Arapahoe County, CO Sheriff's Office;
- Brian Frankel, Assistant Chief of Operations Command, Stafford County Fire and Rescue; and
- Kennedy Littledike Bingham, crash survivor and impact speaker.
NHTSA’s seat belt safety campaign, Click It or Ticket, will begin on May 11 and run through May 31.
NHTSA is committed to providing access to this event for all participants. People with disabilities can submit an accommodation request to NHTSA.Communication@dot.gov no later than May 4, 2026.
