Join NHTSA as we tackle impaired driving and launch this year's Labor Day Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over high-visibility enforcement campaign, hosted at the U.S. DOT Headquarters' Plaza in Washington, D.C.
Speakers will include:
- Jonathan Morrison, NHTSA Administrator
- The Triple Option Podcast Hosts: Urban Meyer, Mark Ingram II and Rob Stone, with guest Jerry Ferrara
- Robert L. Weinmeister (Ret. Major), South Dakota Highway Patrol
- Ebbony and Raymond Jackson, parents of late Minnesota Vikings rookie cornerback Khyree Jackson, who tragically lost his life in an impaired driving crash in July 2024
Following the remarks, participate in our hands-on demonstrations:
- VR Sobriety Simulator: Step into the driver’s seat with state-of-the-art virtual reality to safely experience the delayed reaction times, blurred vision, and loss of control caused by impairment—and compare your results against driving sober.
- Digital Pledge Activation: Take the pledge to never drive impaired and join a nationwide movement. Drop your pin on a live pledge map, watch the total pledge counter in real time, and receive an auto-generated, personalized 'Drive Sober' jersey image to share on social media.
Don't let a bad call ruin the season before it starts. Come meet the team, hear these powerful stories, test your reaction stats, and help us deliver the ultimate championship playbook: Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over.
