This countermeasure involves programs based on direct interaction and engagement with parents to better equip them to supervise and manage their teens’ driving during the GDL phase. Effectiveness Concerns: This countermeasure has been examined in several research studies. Despite some positive research findings, particularly in terms of behavioral changes, the balance of evidence regarding countermeasure effectiveness remains inconclusive.
